Named for Sidney Barthwell, Sr., this scholarship is for a full-time graduate or undergraduate students enrolled for study in the pharmacy program with at least a 2.5 GPA. The following factors are given preference for this award: residence in the city of Detroit, socioeconomic disadvantage, a first generation of his or her family to attend college and overcome substantial obstacles such as family or personal adversity or educational disability
